Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: I’ve always worked in sales and previously in the sport and fitness industry.  I got into property in 2009 and just had so much to like about it.  Properties, processes, people, teams, customer service are all things that I really enjoy and lots of cross over from previous roles outside the industry.
What do you like most about your role: People. People are huge fun and very rewarding. I feel proud to be part of a great team and healthy culture. I also enjoy solving problems for people and making improvements to the business that benefits everyone.
What do you like to do outside of work: I used to be into cycling and recently I’ve taken to pedaling again with some big goals to aim high for. I have an active family with two young boys and three labradors so spending time with them and contributing to the laughs is hugely rewarding. I also enjoy clay pigeon shooting when time allows and taking time away on holiday in the UK. Some favourite UK spots include Polzeath on the North Cornwall Coast and Studland on the Jurassic coastline in Dorset.
Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: This is a tough one! I like music and some Netflix viewing time but I’m not much of a movie buff. I do enjoy all music but if I’ve had a drink and with friends I do enjoy getting back to the old skool garage anthems and letting the bass drop. Anything Netflix wise has to make me laugh or be full-on action to keep my attention. The Fall, The Night Agent, White Collar and Suits are right up my street. Podcasts I get a lot from are The High Performance Podcast and The Diary of a CEO. I do like finding out what has driven successful people and hearing honest and reassuring accounts of the work they put into reaching their achievement.

Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: After spending my 20’s in Los Angeles, I came back to the UK and fell into an estate agency role which I loved and quickly became top negotiator and manager of their main branch. I then went to Asia for 4 years, came back, met Lee, LOVED his business model and ethics and the rest is history! 8 years later and still enjoying my role as much as ever.
What do you like most about your role: The thing I love most about my role is matching people up to the right properties and rooms, making sure they’ll fit in with the current housemates to ensure a long happy tenancy
What do you like to do outside of work: Outside of work I am in the countryside all of the time! I enjoy long hikes on the South Downs , and walking my friends dogs. My newest hobby is reviewing books for publishers. I refound my love of reading during covid and now read in excess of 100 books a year. But my biggest love is cooking and baking and a skill I think I’m really good at.
Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: My music tastes go way back to my 1990’s days of dance, dance, dance! So you’ll always hear happy uplifting house music in my car to get me through the day. As for movies, I’ve got to admit I’m not a massive TV watcher, but love a good Rom-Com with Bridget Jones diary being my go to movie. As for apps, if you’re a huge traveler like myself it’s hot to be “ Get your guide” , an amazing app for free walking tours or cheap days out exploring the area, all with locals. It’s a must!

Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: After a degree in Textiles in interiors, I worked on textile makes for magazines and some of the well known and often cringe worthy TV makeover shows. Then took a path specialising in bathroom design, installation and then started my own business designing and project managing the installation of high end bathrooms in London and Surrey. Bought my first HMO in 2009 when property became the main focus.
What do you like most about your role: Getting things done. I have a passion for interior design so I have a good hand here, I support and work with Lee to make business improvements which gives me lots of satisfaction, but overall I get my rewards by seeing the business achieve and just getting things done. Loose ends and slow pace are my enemies.
What do you like to do outside of work: I love spending time walking my dogs in the Surrey Hills, getting my kids out into nature and a bit of paddle boarding during the warmer months. Recently bought my first greenhouse and grew some lesser known varieties of tomatoes including the ‘green zebra’, some really delicious mini cucumbers and experimented with baby aubergines this summer.
Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: Love listening to the fascinating and inspiring guests on the DOAC podcast and the health benefits of Zoe. Binge worthy Netflix include ‘You’ and “The Night Agent’.

Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: I have a background in business management and marketing which I studied at university, followed by experience in sales, business ownership and client facing roles. Property is very much a people business, so this made for an easier integration into the business.
What do you like most about your role: The best part of my role is being able to engage with tenants and help people get settled in their new home. Often this can be a very stressful time for people, so it is gratifying to offer people a service that makes them happy. The team is very supportive and there is a great teamwork ethic at Urbanshare.
What do you like to do outside of work: Outside of work, you can often find me firing up a BBQ/Braai on the weekends with friends. I also enjoy music and dabble in guitar. I really enjoy traveling and exploring the outdoors and I am always on the lookout for a new adventure or new area to explore.
Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: A very insightful podcast that I follow is called the Rodcast that is insightful and gives an investor’s perspective on property opportunities with investment advice and market trends in the property industry.

Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: I have developed my customer service skills in the Hospitality sector, where I have gained valuable experience, (as a landlord) in property management and client relations. My background has given me a strong understanding of how to balance the needs of both Customers (tenants and landlords), while ensuring everything runs smoothly. At Urbanshare, I bring a people-focused approach, aiming to create a positive living experience and strong relationships built on trust and communication.

What do you like most about your role: The part I enjoy most about my role is being able to support tenants in finding and settling into their homes. Moving can be a stressful process, and I find it rewarding to make that transition easier and more enjoyable. I also value the collaborative spirit at Urbanshare—the team is always supportive, and there’s a real sense of working together to achieve the best outcomes.

What do you like to do outside of work: Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and keeping active. Whether it’s days out with my kids, staying fit, or relaxing with some good music, I like to keep a healthy balance between work and personal life.

Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: Music is a big part of my downtime, and I’m always exploring different genres depending on my mood. Recently, I’ve been enjoying a mix of uplifting playlists that keep me motivated and relaxed at the same time.

Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: I studied International Business with Italian at university, and found myself in the property world shortly after. I jumped straight into a prop-tech start-up, working in tenancy an property management where I gained a lot of practical skills. Working more closely with both renters and landlords has always appealed to me so Urbanshare’s approach really clicked with me.

What do you like most about your role: I enjoy the mix of working with people and being hands-on. Getting to know my clients, understanding their needs, and providing a really strong service is super rewarding for me. Whilst doing so, I am quite creative, so love to bring a personal touch.

What do you like to do outside of work: Outside of work, I’m very active! I play competitive netball most weekends and you’ll find me in the gym 3-4 times a week. I’m also really into photography, especially when I can combine it with travelling or a hike, and I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I also never shy away from trying something new in my free time.

Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: I’m not a huge TV person, but I do love a good Christopher Nolan film for the cinematography and how they spark a good debate. I’ve recently started using an app called Yuka which helps me make more health-conscious choices which I highly recommend. I also try to keep my Italian sharp by tuning into language podcasts whenever I’m out and about.

Tell us about your career to date and what you brought to Urbanshare: I have worked as  a dance teacher since the age of 17, teaching children and adults aged 3 to 93! While  dance has always been a big part of my life, I’ve also had a long-standing passion for  property. In 2023, an injury sadly brought my teaching career to a temporary halt, but it  also opened the door for me to retrain and pursue a new path in property. After gaining  experience as a property manager further down South, I decided to move closer to  London and that’s when I discovered Urbanshare. I was immediately drawn to the  company’s values, morals, and integrity, and I knew right away that Urbanshare was the  right fit for me.

What do you like most about your role: I love the variety that each day brings – one  phone call or email can completely shift my priorities, and I enjoy the challenge of  adapting quickly. I’m naturally drawn to problem-solving and have a keen eye for detail, so I genuinely enjoy tasks like auditing and financial administration.

What do you like to do outside of work: My injury has healed enough that I’m now able to  dance again. As a result, I currently teach a weekly Commercial class and a weekly Heels class, both of which I absolutely love. I also play netball up to three times a week,  run a small events business, and DJ – mainly Disco, House, and Soul music.

Any recommendations on music, podcasts, boxsets, movies, apps that you use, watch of have listened too recently: I’m a big fan of documentaries and have recently been enjoying Channel 4’s documentaries on YouTube. I’ve also just started watching the  series Guinness on Netflix and am really enjoying it so far.
